At what age can a child begin taking class?
We offer our "Dancing with Mommy" classes starting at just 1 year old, providing a fun bonding experience for little ones and their parents. For more independent classes, we begin offering regular dance classes for children as young as 3 years old! These classes help kids develop coordination, balance, and social skills in a supportive, age-appropriate environment.
Are there any beginner-friendly classes?
Absolutely! We offer a range of beginner classes. Whether your child is just starting out or has some experience, we have something that fits. Our instructors provide plenty of guidance to ensure that every student feels comfortable and confident as they learn.
Can boys take class?
Yes, definitely! Dance is for everyone. We welcome boys and girls to join any of our classes, from ballet to hip-hop. The dance world is diverse, and we encourage boys to explore different styles of movement, too.
What is the enrollment process?

When does the season begin?
Our dance season typically begins second week of September, but we offer rolling enrollment through February for certain classes. You can always get started at any time, and we’ll find a class that fits your child’s schedule.
How long are classes?
Class durations vary depending on the age and level, but most of our classes are around 45 minutes to an hour.
What is your attendance policy?
We understand that life happens, but regular attendance is important to ensure steady progress. If your child misses a class, we ask that you inform us in advance. We’re happy to discuss makeup options if needed.
Can I make up missed classes?
Yes! We offer makeup classes for students who miss a session. Just let us know in advance, and we’ll help you schedule a makeup class in another session.
Are specific shoes required?
Yes, the required shoes depend on the type of class. Please see our dress code HERE.
What hair is needed?
For most classes, we ask that hair be tied back in a secure bun. For following classes hair can be in a ponytail: Hippity Hop, Musical Theater, Hip Hop and Acro classes. This helps keep the focus on the dance movements and ensures safety during class.
Is there a competition team?
Yes, we do have a competition team! Our team members have the opportunity to participate in local and regional competitions, where they can showcase their skills and build teamwork and discipline. What is the recital like?
Our annual recital is a highlight of the year! It’s a chance for all students to showcase what they’ve learned in a fun, family-friendly performance. It’s a big celebration, with costumes, music, and lots of excitement. We make sure it’s an enjoyable experience for students and families alike.
What are the qualifications of the teachers?
Our instructors are highly trained and experienced in their respective dance styles, with many having professional performance backgrounds and certifications in dance education. They are passionate about nurturing creativity, skill, and confidence in every student. Many of our teachers even grew up in our school, making them an integral part of our dance family. Committed to continuous growth, they regularly attend conferences and conventions to stay at the forefront of dance education.
Can I/my child observe class before committing?
Yes! We invite you to come observe a class and take a tour of our facility before making a full commitment.
Am I able to see my child while they are taking class?
Absolutely! We have the largest viewing windows in the area, allowing you to watch your child's dance classes each week. We believe it's important for parents to be part of their child's dance journey, so our viewing area is always open—there are no closed weeks for observation!
What should my child bring to class?
Just bring your child’s dance shoes, water bottle, and a positive attitude! We encourage students to come ready to learn, stay hydrated, and have fun.

Do you offer private training?
Yes, we offer private lessons for students who are looking for one-on-one instruction. Whether for extra practice, preparation for a competition, or more personalized coaching, our instructors can tailor lessons to suit the student’s goals. We offer private lessons in 6 week sessions. What kind of floors do we have?
Each of our dance rooms is equipped with high-quality sprung floors, designed to provide optimal support and shock absorption. These floors help reduce the risk of injury by minimizing impact on dancers' joints, making them ideal for all styles of dance. On top of our sprung floors, we use professional-grade marley flooring, which offers the perfect balance of traction and glide. This ensures a safe and comfortable surface for dancers of all levels, allowing them to move with confidence and perform at their best.
